DIS 2016-17 FW collection arises from an endless aestethic and artesanal research.
It outlines an unconventional man, who walkes nonchalantly from different styles and different worlds.
This season DIS goes out from its showroom in Montecosaro, reaching Florence during Pitti 89.
The event will take place at the Garibaldi Blu Hotel with its elegant interiors, with an installation created by Francesco Carpineti, DIS visionary and creative mind and by Rifle’s creative team, author of sensational and sensorial pieces in the denim’s world.
Francesco Carpineti and Rifle group imagined a dialogue between past and present times, in the middle of tradition and innovation.
A display cases sequence, ordered as a big clock face to indicate the time flow, will show DIS collection; while in the middle, as beating hearth and core mechanism, a tall display will enclose “ Giulio Fratini” sneakers, dedicated to Rifle brand founder, which this year will celebrate its 58 years.
A shoes without laces, characterised by a high white sole, a denim vamp with refined and original stitches marking Rifle vintage rivets, took from ancient archives.
The result is a dialogue between shoes and denim worlds, giving spatial tactility to DIS world essence: tangible, artesanal, contemporary but still timeless.
